Jane Jopling – Fitness Director, Pilates
With over 15 years of fitness experience, Jane brings a focus on education and motivation to Spa Euphoria Fitness Boutique. As the Fitness Director, Jane’s goal is to help create a highly-personalized experience for each client. As an instructor, Jane is inspired to make each class special – a place where people can learn, grow, rehabilitate, rejuvenate, reach personal goals, and become the best version of themselves.
A mother of two, who recently completed a B.Ed. in Adult Education, Jane completed her extensive Mat Certification as Pilates Education Leader at Body Harmonics. A fitness instructor and enthusiast for the past 20 years, Jane was drawn to pilates because of its focus on mindful movement. Her classes have helped her many students to develop strong core muscles, while improving posture and flexibility using precise, controlled movements.
Heather Clarke – Yoga, Barre
Heather is a Recreation Therapist/Yoga Teacher-Therapist and a Certified Fitness Specialist. She has 30 years of experience in clinical and community settings designing, implementing, and evaluating health and wellness programs. Heather’s training in dance has propelled her to be aware of proper alignment and body mechanics. At the same time, her goal for all students is to bring both creativity and fun to any fitness space.
Heather is certified in several disciplines, including Yoga Teacher Training RYT-500, Personal Training, Functional Fitness for Older Adults, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. A Barre instructor certified by Barreworks, she looks forward to teaching Euphoria’s barre classes. Based in Peterborough, Heather and her husband are enjoying the recent addition of their first grandchild to their growing family.
Liz Doris – Yoga
Liz began practicing yoga in 2000 and quickly realized the many physical and emotional benefits it offers. In 2004, Liz completed her Ashtanga Certification at the Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto. Over the years, Liz’s classes have evolved to reflect her continuing education and passion for using yoga as therapy for the mind/body/spirit. With a medical background as a Critical Care Nurse, Liz’s classes provide a strong anatomic and therapeutic focus. Liz offers classes that are breath-centered, safe, welcoming and fun.
Liz has completed certifications in Yoga for Runners, Children’s Yoga, Yin Yoga, Therapy Yoga, and Pre-Natal Yoga. She has been the yoga instructor for the Peterborough Petes since 2012. Liz lives in Peterborough with her husband and two children.
Angie Hill – Zumba Strong, Pilates, Yoga, Barre
Angie has been a fitness instructor and enthusiast for 27 years. She is an avid fitness participant, runner and cyclist. Angie also has a passion to dabble in the culinary arts and loves the outdoors. As a successful Registered Massage Therapist, her expansive knowledge of the body and rehabilitation techniques allows for creative, yet safe and challenging classes.
Angie holds many certifications including Fitness Instructor Specialist (FIS),(CALA aqua), Yoga RYT 500, Body Harmonics Pilates Mat and Large Equipment (e.g. Reformer) and is a qualified Merrithew Total Barre Teacher. Residing in Peterborough with her husband, Angie owns and operates a successful business. She has raised two children, and continues to be a diligent student in all things health related. Angie’s extensive knowledge will entertain and educate you while you engage in exciting classes with her at Euphoria.
Leslie Piekarski – Barre
Inspired by movement and music, Leslie is excited to bring her enthusiasm to the Spa Euphoria Fitness Team. A trained dancer, Leslie has performed, competed, instructed and choreographed for dance companies and studios across Ontario for the past 20 years. She is also a Barre instructor certified by Barreworks.
With a Bachelor of Kinesiology and a Masters of Health Sciences, Leslie possesses the fundamental understanding of the body and its movement patterns. She adapts her classes so that everybody can participate. She will motivate you to build strength, flexibility and endurance through functional movements. Hooked on a good sweat, Leslie is an avid runner and yogi. She also believes in the benefits of interval training – and the healing powers of a good dance party.
